Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Many hands makes Light and Joyful work! There’s lots to do before this farm sleeps for the winter…moving the chickens, planting garlic, spreading compost and mulch, taking down the tipis, etc. And… we hope to bring people together on the farm one last time. So…you are all invited to our last community work-party of the season, which will culminate in a sunset feast around the fire. We’ll have a work session from noon-5, come by for any part of that. Anyone who lends a hand will be served a Lovingly prepared meal.. so please RSVP so I know how much to make. And if you can’t come earlier than 5..come by anyway (the more the merrier) and celebrate the end of season and full moon with us!
Aileah, Ustya, and the rest of us at Clove Valley CSA
Join us for a community gathering on July 30th at 4PM.
Everyone is welcome! Come enjoy this beautiful land, the gardens in full swing, and the company of friends and neighbors!
Bring a dish to share, your own plates and utensils, a picnic blanket, and perhaps a musical instrument. Come anytime after 4 PM and stay into the night.. we’ll light a fire as the sun goes down.
The 1st CSA Pick-up will be this Saturday June 5th anytime 9-dark, and our 1st weekly Sunday Market will Sunday the 6th from 1-6PM.
Yesterday was our first harvest for the Woodstock Market, and it’s so exiting to start feeding people with our produce!
We sold lots of BocChoi, Tatsoi, Mustard Greens, Braising Mix, Radishes, and lots of different herbs and wild edibles. (also we sold mint, lemonbalm, and nettle iced tea!) Expect the same fresh goodies this weekend on the farm. See you soon!
Welcome to the 2011 growing season! Still accepting CSA members!
Join the CSA, visit the farmstand, come to a workshop or community potluck, join a work party, or just take a stroll around the gardens! Lots of ways to connect to this beautiful land and budding community education center.
Please come by for a potluck on May 14th 12-4 to celebrate with Farmers Sarah & Kevin.
Looking forward to a great year of gardening fun, abundant harvests, community gatherings, workshops, and forming beautiful connections with the land and each other. Contact Aileah at email@example.com or 570-762-2872
