Alan Lilienthal on Who are we?
Greetings Dear Friends of the Farm,
Today it really looked & felt like winter, perfect timing for the last big harvest. Tomorrow will be the final CSA pick-up, and the Woodstock market ended a few weeks ago.. grateful for a very abundant season!!! We’ll be in the barn tomorrow (wed) chopping up the leftover veggies for our winter Kimchi & Sauerkraut, stop by for a visit if you like:)
Better yet, come by this Sunday (11-11) for our final community event of the season:
the 3rd annual..Garlic Planting Party!
Come by any time after 12 to hang out and help with various projects,
plant some cloves into their beds around 2, and then before dark we’ll share a big pot of soup around the fire!
All are welcome, come by at any time.
Most importantly, THANK YOU everyone who helped make this farm season possible. For all the manure-hauling, tool-fixing, weeding, digging, veggie-washing, seed-growing, fence-building, veggie-buying & just stopping by…we are so grateful! Looking forward to an even better next season!
Lots of Love from Clove Valley Road,
Aileah, Toby, Rio, Premilla, Ustya, Jens, Dave & Stella
Come by for a community work-party this Saturday May 5th! We’ll be putting the finishing touches on our beautiful new cedar deer fence. We’ll also begin cleaning out the Big White Barn (a great potential community space), and perhaps creating new potato beds. All are welcome, many hands make light work!
Come by anytime 11-4, snacks provided.
Spring is quickly approaching & we’re getting exited for another season of abundance!
